Stereotypes In Programes:

Tichina Arnold as Rochelle, the intimidating, short-tempered, strict, cranky, serial killer, ghetto-snobbish and humorously sassy mother. As an example, in the episode Everybody Hates the Last Day, Rochelle once tenderly resolved a conflict between Drew and Tonya; immediately afterward, she took off her belt and instructed them both to "take it upstairs". In addition, she makes exaggerated threats of physical punishment, such as telling Chris how she'll "slap him into next week" in an imagination scene, Tonya asked "Where's Chris?", and Rochelle replied "Oh, I slapped him into next week. He'll be back on Tuesday. This gives the people watching the film a interpritation that chris's mum is a stereotypical strict black mother.

Steroetypes In Movies:
In this part of my blog i would show several examples of black people stereotyed in movies.
There have been many instances of racism identified in Disney movies including
Jungle Book
Stereotype In The News:
Black people are portraded in the news as very violent ,not smart and drug related. But over the last five or so years a number of black african americans are shown as smart and idolistlic for example the first black president barack ombama and denzel washington in his new movie,The Great Debatera,he was shown as smart and trustworthy in both his movies and comunity work.
Your post starts off really well and your list clearly shows you understand how black people are often stereotyped in the media. Your examples from Everybody Hates Chris are good but I have noted that much of the information has been copied and pasted from the internet rather than being put into your own words. At GCSE level it is impossible to give many marks to information copied and pasted from the internet. Next time you must try and write in your own words AND complete the task set.
